Camp Experience & Learning

After the opening cooking experience, campers dive deeper into the full camp day. Kids work in groups of two or more at shared cooking stations and are guided step‑by‑step by our instructors as they prepare a variety of dishes inspired by the camp theme.

Campers are encouraged to make choices, customize their food, and explore flavors through interactive activities such as selecting ingredients during a guided pantry or kitchen experience. Throughout the camp, young chefs practice measuring, following recipes, using kitchen equipment safely, and understanding how ingredients work together.

Cooking, tasting, and kitchen clean‑up are all part of the experience, helping kids learn what it means to prepare food thoughtfully and serve it with care.

No prior cooking experience is required.

What Kids Will Experience

• Hands‑on cooking centered around the camp theme
• Working collaboratively at shared cooking stations
• Creative recipe customization and ingredient selection
• Measuring, mixing, and safe use of kitchen equipment
• Kitchen organization and clean‑up as part of cooking
• Learning how to prepare and serve food at home

Camp Structure

• Total Duration: 3 hours
• Final 30 Minutes: Eating, clean‑up, and kitchen reset
• Format: Drop‑off camp

This class is part of our Summer Kids Camp Series. Families who book multiple camps together in one transaction are eligible for bundled savings.

Cook‑for‑Parent Event & Advanced Pathway

Campers who complete three or more Kids Cooking Camps during the summer are invited to participate in our Cook‑for‑Parent Event, where they plan, prepare, and serve a meal for their families.

Completing three or more camps also qualifies campers for enrollment in our Advanced Kids Camp, featuring more in‑depth projects, faster pacing, and increased responsibility in the kitchen.

Important Information & Policies

Age Guidelines

• Summer Day Camp: Ages 7–14
• Advanced Kids Camp: Ages 13–16 or completion of 3 or more Kids Camp classes

Allergies & Special Requirements
Parents or guardians must notify us of any food allergies or special requirements prior to camp.
Please note: we are not a nut‑free facility.

Cancellation Policy
A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to receive a credit toward a future class. Refunds are not available. Please review our cancellation policy before booking.
